Au fil de l’eau, un vrai groupe est venu s’agrémenter autour de l’Américain Jordan Geiger. Avec ce troisième album, l’ex-membre de Shearwater nous embarque pour une transcendante traversée, d’une rive à l’autre d’un indie rock tourmenté.

La voix aérienne de Jordan est toujours là, comme aux premières heures de Minus Story, splendide et hypnotique. Les paroles confinent au mystique. Les mélodies flottent sur des eaux troubles, qui bercent, tanguent puis engloutissent. Comme le chant des sirènes, ce troisième album a de fortes chances de vous faire tourner la tête.

Mais, rassurez-vous, il ne mange pas les navigateurs égarés.
